"Garrett speaks a lot through his eyes"

Such as "I am now looking left"? Or something more complicated like Morse code?

Maybe they will do it through Garrett's eyes. .... or one of those interpretive dances. It's a tough one, isn't it?

.Yes.

That's you reading hyper-emotionality into things yet again, and the wrong emotions, to boot. Is this what we can expect from now on?
Yes.

Here's how many protests work: You keep at it until something improves or hope is lost. The current protracted silence by EM is merely stasis. Nothing's yet changed. And they were mostly silent for years, and now it's been only two weeks, with noted Tweets even in that time.
Enraged? We're laughing, and partying to pass the time while not forgetting why we're here, and you think it's "more enraged?" It's much less rage, and just keeping the embers glowing.
Yes.

Ooh, that reminds me... They also want to "bring back" the word "taffer":
I wonder if its even 'politically correct' these days! :wot:

I like that word, I hope they do put it in Thief 4 in some fashion. Would be disappointing to not hear someone say that at some point.

Yeah, I like it too and even use it in real life instead of resorting to swear words.

Are people itt actually, honestly, claiming that Garrett does not speak through his eyes? In contrast to every single other acting performance in the history of mankind?
You guys are wierd.
I'd say the only only thing more important to establishing Garrett's emotions then his eyes would be ... *cough* ... his voice. I can understand why they didn't mention that. :p

On the first level it's funny because Thief is a first person game, save for the unfortunate third child in the family.
On the second level it's funny because we rarely ever see his eye(s). Up until now, apparently.

I know its minor but if they changed the use taffer to "f*ck" it would be super disappointing and generic. It's one of the weird quirks of the series that I love.

It's one of its' unique, defining characteristics...to be subjugated by vulgarity.
Starker on 19/5/2013 at 23:21
One thing I wouldn't miss is the pagan speak. I always thought it was a little bit ridiculous, especially in the third game.
