So I dont normally buy into the whole valentines mumbo jumbo, so I figured I might try for once to see if it profoundly changes my life*. There's a girl I started seeing recently who is a gamer, mostly enjoying lots of Double Fine games, some adventure/puzzles, and Mass Effects, so I was thinking of gifting her something on team, maybe a small indie adventure game? There's a ton good choices to pick from, but I was wondering if anyone can think of something that would fit the valentine / romantic theme. Any suggestions?
* spoiler: no it won't

spoiler: no it won'tHard to think of one that would fit the valentine theme, but if she is into adventures there are many out there with interesting female leads which she might especially enjoy:
Culpa Innata
The Experiment (known as Experience 112 in Europe)
Secret Files: Tunguska
If you want an indie adventure game, I recommend, Limbo, but it's definitely not a Valentine's Day team.
If it must be a romance theme, then I recommend "Bientôt l'été" on Steam. It's meant to be played in co-op between "Two players who pretend to be lovers" . In your case, you won't have to pretend :thumb:

Get her something with co-op, like Portal 2.

That's... Actually an interesting idea, get a coop game we can play together OH GOD THE PERFECT LOVE STORY. Not sure if she'd be into portal specifically tho

Recently I played through Thomas Was Alone, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Not really romantic, though there is a small love story in it (sort of). Machinarium is good too, and that's a damsel-in-distress story.

To the Moon, of course. :thumb:
It's sort of really depressing when you take a high-level overview after the end, though.

To the Moon is good.
Uh ... Journey, Limbo, Braid, Flower, The Path, Mirror's Edge, The Saboteur, Gravity Bone & 30 Flights of Loving, Knytt Underground, Nelly Cootalot, Eternal Daughter, Cave Story, Okami...

Botanicula? It's admittedly not terribly sophisticated, but it's cute.
