Unless the label side (the actual data) is scratched, then it's irreparable. The plastic directly under the foil is where the data's been recorded. The other side can be buffed and smoothed out if the scratches aren't too deep.
Hopefully it's just scratched on the read-through side.

Thief Gold isn't available retail anymore (outside of that $20 download).
I just ordered it from Amazon.
Our original Gold cd must have been taken by Gremlins; been looking for it at home for a year & can't find it. :weird:

Well that's just great and all, but Thief Gold is what was requested.
Thank you, Captain Obvious.

You mean "reparable", right?

I think I found my copy of Thief Gold from either Big Lots or Kaybee toys for $5.99. When I bought my second computer back in early 2001, it came with Thief II, but I lost it and recently bought it again for less than $10 only to find my originals right where I left them. Gotta love that.

that happened to me with my copy of opeth's blackwater park. i lost it somewhere and could not find it. then i went to a show, bought an autographed copy for $30, came home, found my original a few days later while cleaning my room.

...then sold the autographed copy on eBay, right?
