Escape from Simons...

So. Have you ever tried to escape from Walton Simons in the ocean lab?

I have, and i think it even worked. So what does simons do then?

I usually just take him down then and there, but I believe that if you run away (or damage him until he runs away), you have to confront him again in Area 51. I'm not exactly sure where though.

Yup, you fight him amdist the ruins of Area 51, I seem to recall he came charging at me from out of the main entrance to the underground complex. Or was it from a hangar... anyway there's great fun to be had scrambling robots and letting them deal with him.

Taking him out at Area 51 is simple. You see him running towards you from the hangar which is a small distance away. Just whip out your long range weapons like a good old GEP gun and he is gone with ease.

I like to listen to the Area 51 conversation with Simons though. ;)

He's easy to kill at A51 because he doesn't have his Dragon's Tooth anymore. Just walk right up to him and he can't use his plasma rifle, so he pulls out a LAM. He can't use that either though, so you just need to shoot him in the head. :)

He's waiting in the building where you get some stuff and an aug upgrade. I think you could ignore him, did anyone ever try that?

You can "ignore" him by all means, as long as you have the super natural skills of staying alive in the middle of logging into various computers with him shooting at you point blank. Of course if someone truly wanted to, they can stay cloaked as long as they have enough biocells.

No, I think he only comes out when you close a certain distance. Does anybody know about that for sure? :)

GEP gun makes a lot of situations in Deus Ex far too easy to get past.
