Has anyone else been playing Estiah? It seems like quite a fun game. Its essentially deck-building combat where you collect "charms" and make them into a deck, then when you fight they are used in a random order to determine the winner. It is complex enough that there are lots of different strategies to try.
There are dungeons to clear which give you better charms as loot, and have a puzzley aspect to them where the boss's deck is flawed in some way meaning if you make a special deck you can overcome their weakness. For PvP fighting its more like rock/paper/scissors depending on how each person has constructed their decks.
To make the characters different there are 4 stats to improve which determine which charms you are allowed to use, its summed up nicely in this (
http://forum.estiah.com/index.php?topic=1777.0) post.
Its the standard limited actions / day deal, so you only have to spend 10mins playing if you want to each day. The game has no adverts, but you can donate for cosmetic benefits to support it.
If you do register you can choose to add me as a "mentor" which means I get some free stats when you level up enough (
http://www.estiah.com/user/register/index/id/77014) or just register normally (

I haven't been playing it that long, but it seems quite fun and tactical without taking up too much time! :)

Is that a "its in the thread already somewhere" or a "don't discuss free stuff in a separate thread" reply?

Is this game's banner ads dominated by copious cleavage, like those for Evony (another popular browser-bound F2P MMO)?

No, there is no copious amounts of cleavage in the game AT ALL!
I haven't seen any adverts for it, so I don't know what the banners look like (If indeed it has any at all.) I think they might not advertise and just spread on word-of-mouth. They don't charge or have adverts on the actual game itself so they probably can't afford to pay for their own adverts. Its entirely funded on donations for cosmetic things.

If anyone wants to make a thread about any free game in that thread, knock yourselves out. Although it's a useful reference, even the shiniest ones get kinda buried in there.
I've spent a while looking for a screenshot of the actual gameplay, but there doesn't seem to be one. Sounds kinda like a non-realtime MUD with a fancy browser interface?

Something like that Ulukai, the combat is mostly down to choosing your deck, the battles themselves are then automaticly animated with the combatants alternating playing charms until one of you dies or runs out of charms (exhaustion).

Somebody needs to make the game Evony is falsely advertising. I'd play that. :cheeky:
