No. It's some kind of secret attainable by jumping somewhere. I have no idea. You can read about "Knightmare mode" in the mission's .str files, which 3 of them are nowhere to be found in the game. I just don't have enough DromEd know-how to figure out what series of events does the trick.
I really liked Events in Highrock and the Knightmare mode mystery drives me nuts :)

This is complicated. In the starting room look for a very small book in the s-o corner at the ceiling. Impossible difficulty setting only. This is the first step.

i am going to try it also,never heard of it myself,how many steps in all? are there clue to find steps?
i got first step done but not sure if more are close?

In expert you can´t kill and after frobbing a book as mentioned before you get a warning telling you that you are in knightmare mod (don´t remember if you have to frob more than once) Then you don´t have access to the blackjack if I remember correctly. So you can´t knock out.
Maybe there are some other drawbacks after activating this mode.

The no kill objective is already there on impossible difficulty.
Frob the book twice. You'll get "Knightmare Mode" after a warning.
"Knightmare Mode" raises the difficulty
-You'll get a very high loot goal.
-Your equipment is (mostly) destroyed

Thanks a lot. Turns out it's nothing special. I was expecting an access to a special gauntlet area or something like the Knightmare TV show. Meh.
