I dunno, Rebellion have been slumming it for several years now by making loads of licensed shovelware.

Honestly, I think that it'll be worth playing for originality alone. Looks kind of like Far Cry (console version) with zombies thrown in.

I'd wager that they did a Silent Hill 4, the game was posthumously retitled Shellshock 2 once Eidos signed to be publisher. From what I gather the original Shellshock Nam '67 was a 3rd person shooter that focused on "gritty realism".
Either way it'd have to be bargain bin purchase for me.
If I had loads of disposable income then I'd buy it brand new just to see that Eidos stays afloat. Mind you I would do only do this with high quality games that I know that I'd enjoy. I already bought Tomb Raider Underworld on pre-order, so I have no heavy conscious, but then I knew that TRU was gonna be a solid game either way.

And solid it is. I shied away from it after hearing some of the downer reviews being tossed about around here, but I'm finding it to be one of the best Tomb Raiders since the original. Some of the scenes are just flat out awe inspiring, easily comparable to seeing St. Francis' Folly or the underground sphinx for the first time.
I wish I grabbed it earlier.

Do you have TR:Anniversary? I thought it was actually better than the original in most ways.
Edit: On topic, is it wrong that my only reaction to that trailer was FREEBIRD!!! FREEBIRD!!!?

I'd play it.

I bought Anniversary the day it came out and loved it. But due to some of the cuts CD made to the various levels, and of course the nostalgia factor, I'll always prefer the original.

I haven't played Anni yet. I hope it is on XBOX or gametap gold (I have a paid subscripton). I am trying to get through Legend, but my aging XBOX has trouble loading up the perfect, flawless disc 3/4 of the time. It'll load up a scratched game every time, though. I figure it is a dual-layer disc or something.

Anniversary is indeed on GameTap. As is Legend, if your XBox quits.
