Yeah, because most of the people here have never played the classics. They think that before Morrowind there were no rpgs. lol

Played it. A few chuckles at first when I realized what it was about. Kept pressing space. Har har, still just pressing space. But the more it went on, and the more jokes he threw in, the more I started to laugh. Very good.

I don't think that most of your points apply to the first two Lands of Lore games. No elves or dwarves, a single dragon between the two of them (which is pretty much just a method of transport), the forests are generally creepy and the opposite of peaceful, none of those subquests and only the most obvious elements of your lore list apply, and the gameplay stuff doesn't especially either except for some light alchemy in the second game. More do fit the third Lands of Lore, but everyone knows that that one sucks anyways.

Has no one mentioned Myth: The Fallen Lords, yet? That was fairly a-typical.
The elves weren't called elves they were called the Feriun (or something).
Yeah, the dwarfs did like technology... but instead of taking a boat to a far of island... you took a dwarven hot air balloon with a group of elite soldier's to a desert.
Umm you did have Ents and Golem (did the OP mention these guys). Damn it is a pity Myth wasn't expanded upon... I would have loved to play a Myth RPG. Then again, bungie had better things to do like making Halo :p

True, but they did make three of them, that's quite a bunch., Would be interesting to see them do something fantasy again though now that they're off halo.

I think the best part is you can keep moving around even after you get the crown.
