You'll need to have the <a href="http://www.deusex.com/sdk.htm">SDK</a> installed to do this.
1.) Open the SDK and use the pull-down menu at the top of the navigation bar on the right to select "Classes".
2.) Press the "Load" button at the bottom of this bar.
3.) Make your way to the DeusEx\System folder where you'll find a bunch of *.u files.
4.) Here you'll find several *.u files that begin "DeusExConAudio...". These contain all the conversation sounds. Select the one you want (this may involve lots of trial and error - there are a lot of sounds). Anyhow, double click the file you want.
5.) Use the pull-down menu at the top of the navigation bar to select "SoundFX". Below this another menu will appear where you should be able to select the *.u file you just loaded.
6.) Go through the list and play the files until you find the one you want, then click "Export" to export it as a *.wav file.
You can also access ambient sounds through this menu and export them in the same way.
I hope that's not too confusing...
