extracting sounds from thief deadly shadows

hello

following on from how to extract crf. files from thief gold/thief 2 how do you extract the sound files from thief deadly shadows.in my program files/thief - deadly shadows/content/T3/sounds there are 5 csc. files,but how and what i do with them is beyond me?.can anybody point me in the right direction?.thank you

You need Sound Drone. The old link is now dead, but I found this one on a Polish Thief forum:

hello

thanks for that utility yandross,its great.but what iwas looking for was for some way to unarchive the csc. files and then rearchive them.i know this was possible for thief gold/thief 2,but i dont know if this is possible for thief deadly shadows?.

AFAIK extracting only works with SoundDrone, for re-compiling you need a Perl script shipped with the T3 Editor. Just in case anyone's around... re-compiling the whole thing resulted for both Massimiliano and me/us with missing lip movements in TDS/editor install (as if there was no volume information left or something). So you can put it back together, but we haven't found out yet how to make it complete.

@clearing: Have you hosted SoundDrone as well? I'd take it down from the server then.
