I loaded up darthLair's, A Lucky Hand, to begin a walkthrough. I noticed that Dromed is suddenly extremely unresponsive. It takes 2 taps of any key to get the cam to rotate or move. Same with the command screen.
I thought maybe it was the mission, so I loaded a much smaller one. Same problem. So I did a clean install and TafferPatched everything. Same crap. I haven't had any hardware changes either, so i don't know what the heck is going on. Any ideas?

Have you rebooted? It is quite possible that something else is tying up resources. Are any other applications affected?

I've checked Task Manager. Nothing significant. Running 0 - 12% CPU.

When was your last goat sacrifice? You may be past due.

Check the dromed.cfg for double entries. You had the same problem recently, if I remember correctly.

I triple-checked dromed.cfg. Besides, a new one was installed when I re-installed the game.
EDIT: I went ahead and manually copied over the 1.23 files. The only ones that were different were cam_ext.cfg and cam.cfg. The problem suddenly disappeared and the editor runs normally. Since the last two installs were done via TafferPatcher, perhaps the problem lieth there. However, everyone would have been having the same problem if that were true.
Back to work...
