Yeah it does, mostly :P
I'll be playing it in french too, I don't really want anything lost in translation.
EDIT: It's a mess! It's full of bugs! The AI is dreadful! But I'm going to love it!

Thanks. :cheeky:
We are currently working on fixing some bugs that appeared on the retail version of the game. If you are playing E.Y.E with Windows Vista 32 bits or Windows 7 32 bits, you may experience crashes. We are looking into that and we apologize for the inconvenience.

got it. it's glorious in a bad and good way. too much attributes, crazy, clunky menues (more a source problem) and poor AI. but dual katanas, bots that fight for you and a myriad of "talents".....really nice, gotta play more. I'm going invisible ninja, hope I made the right choices for that. a lot of tutorials to watch and many, many keys to reconfigure and get used to.

My first impressions :
It's dark, very dark. The lighting is just terrible, you have to keep the flashlight turned on most of the time and it doesn't help much.
The writing is awful, and I'm playing it in French. It's full of grammar mistakes and typos and feels like it was written by a fourteen year old. The dialogs are painful to read, most of the characters talk like kids high on pot instead of super agents from a top secret society. It kinda feels like being in a mmo and interacting with other real players actually, it's really immersion breaking. It's a shame cause the story actually seems interesting.
The save system is horrendous. Basically every time you load the game you appear in this dream sequence and have to go through a portal to get back to the game. Why ? I have no idea, but you have to go through one long loading screen just to get to the portal sequence which only lasts 5 sec and then you have to go through yet another loading screen that lasts just as long.
Now if you die in the game you don't have to go through that portal again, you just re-spawn on the spot. This can create countless problems obviously. For example, in the beginning in the EYE headquarters, I was talking to my robot thingy and tried to close the dialog window, however my mouse being so shitty it double clicked and not only closed the window but sliced through that poor robot. Everyone in the room started attacking me of course, so I figured I'd just let myself die and reload, but I just re-spawned on the spot with people still firing at me and still being hostile (and probably the whole campaign being screwed). The only way to solve this is to quit the game and go through the portal again, which of course brings you back to the beginning of the headquarters map losing all your progress. There's no way to sheath your weapon so this will probably happen frequently.
Basically it's a mess, and I couldn't even load the first mission, the game simply crashed. I fear I may have to go through all the npcs all over again. Other than that, the interface is unintuitive to say the least, the environments are huge but empty, unlike Deus Ex you can't interact with much of the world, everything here is just for decoration. It all feels lifeless and empty, like playing a multiplayer map.
The good things : the basic gameplay seems terrific, shooting feels solid and satisfying and the controls are responsive and fairly customizable.

Suddenly the money I wanted to spend on this game locked itself in my wallet, awaiting some major patching. Few things irritate me more than a terrible and needlessly frustrating save system.

There's a four-pack deal on Steam today, ladies and gents, which brings the price per game down to round about £10. Anyone fancy it?

I agree on the multiplayer feel of the maps .. another problem: respawns...happen fairly often if you do not progress and there is not much to explore on the maps, one hidden room, a few side-entrances to objectives. BUT: what they did pump into this game is amazing.
short example:
a room with a few turrets, all hostile and enemies inside....
- spawn a few bots, order them to hunt and use the ensuing firefight to nade all turrets to hell
- relax in a corner, turn on the hacking implant, get a hold of the turrets and kill all enemies inside
== another outcome would be that the TURRET HACKS YOU, leaving you vulnerable, low on energy and health: if you get hacked you have to hack YOURSELF to regain control.... EPIC
- stealth and avoid
- hack a turret near an explodable barrel and destroy it instead of taking control.....BOOOM
basic weapons/ammo is umlimited but for the good stuff you have to pay money and research, making it available next mission or in an armory.
there are a few decisions to make in how you wanna complete an objective at the start of missions and a decisions when interacting with keycharacters. No clue if that has influence on future missions.
yeah, it's ugly as hell but glorious as well. I don't regret the 18euros.
and I'm only level11 atm....
