I'd say the opposite, it looks inspired by so many things they need someone to cut all the bits sticking out too much. But the potential is there.

I know what you're saying (they're inspired by so much they need to get a fucking clue and apply what works!) and understand, but disagree that it's the opposite of uninspired. I don't like getting technical but my definition of uninspired is:

I found the "OMG LEVEL UP!!!!one" HUD elements a bit jarring, though.
Especially "My accuracy has increased!"...nothing like a bit of talking to yourself to inform you of things you haven't noticed. Or something.
