Jesus Christ, clearing-'house'...did you not read the thread and see Sulphur's post?
Enough of this drive-by posting. Put some effort into it.

'house'
:laff:
I don't know why developers think live action trailers are any good.
Show gameplay footage. It is a game after all.

It's just a teaser, not a full trailer. With teasers it's acceptable to tease your audience with very little to no imagery from the actual product - according to standard entertainment industry practices.

Very good news indeed, providing that they fix up a few of the shortcomings of no.2.
That poster looks horrible, Fettel looks like Steven Segall:erg: . I hope they fired the artist that was in charge of that.
That trailer however makes me want to know more(even though a few bits of it were a bit funny looking. I want to know who the new guy is, is he the protagonist now?
And I quite liked the live action prequel to FEAR 1, really brought out Alma's character.

New guy? You mean the long-haired, bearded man? That's the Point Man, the FEAR 1 protagonist.
The playable characters are Point Man and Paxton Fettel. They have differing abilities. Obviously Point Man has his slo-mo like he's always had.

Ah, that makes more sense.Hehe, didn't recognize him without his mask and uniform. I really like the idea of playing as Fettel.

This really makes me worried. FEAR2 was just a watered down FEAR (inexistent story, degraded gameplay, no remarkable characters...); I'd expect them to sober up and make up for the shortcomings. Instead they even named the sequel - of all things - F3AR. And use an image that rather reminds me of some B-category action flick.
At this rate I'll lowering expectations to a some HALO clone's level.

No. The game is still officially called F.E.A.R. 3. The logo is only that, a logo. Go look at all the press releases, blogs on the developer's site, fearfans.com (body text, not graphics), etc. for your proof.

It's still pretty darn foreboding. If nothing else, in terms of sentiment towards the game.

I see what you did there.
