Free FEAR 2 you say?
...nope, still not worth it

Does anyone know what DRM it uses? If it uses Steam like FEAR 2 did I won't cancel my preorder at GS, because if it didn't I'd cancel said preorder and just get it off Steam.

Carpenter hasn't released a good film in years but he's a very talented filmmaker. Steve Niles wrote 30 Days of Night (which I loved..graphic novel moreso than film but as far as R-rated vampire flicks go it wasn't bad). So, if nothing else, I'm expecting the story and visuals to be a treat. But the gameplay in these trailers does look polished which would be a bonus.
Three days! I mean thr33...

Again, as in an earlier post, I might get it. I am nearing the end of Fear 2 and it just doesn't have the same feel of the original Fear due to the different engines. Still, it's enjoyable if you want to follow the story of a Defense Contractor's Black Budget experiment gone haywire and having it come back to bite them in the ass!
I know this game is highly fictional but you can see the reference to historical Top Secret Government sponsored Testing and Experiments that don't get too much media attention since WW2.

Fear 2 doesn't have the same feel as the original Fear because it's an inferior sequel. The engines are the same, Fear 2 just uses a modified version of the one in the original with some improvements and some trade-offs. (DON'T WORRY GUYS I'M NOT OPENING THAT DISCUSSION AGAIN)

BY "NOT OPENING THAT DISCUSSION AGAIN" ARE YOU PERCHANCE REFERRING TO THE DISCUSSION ABOUT SHADOWS IN FEAR 2 WHICH ARE NOT DYNAMIC?
