Not really... I kind of prefer Hellgate to Border myself.
Good to see it's official. The fact that fans sat and made unofficial patches for the game to add multiplayer stuff in the single player game (and they're done and working great too) must have contributed to this decision to reanimate its corpse. Don't know what to say yet about this. Hope it'll turn out better than it did last time.

So, they're taking a poorly implemented, unfun sort-of diablo clone, altering it to fit the taste of the grindtastic Asian MMO community, and rereleasing it?

If it's F2P and financed by micro-transactions, on the contrary, I'd imagine that it'd do well enough to keep itself afloat long-term.
Would it be fun though? For most of us probably not.

I tried the game at the urging of a friend who worked at a game shop at the time. I went to his place, and he was intent on showing me all of the 'cool shit' in the game. I wrestled the mouse away from him to get a feel for it, and just couldn't get into it. I have never felt controls like that (it was just the feel of it and the way it responded. Largely a personal hitch, to be fair), and I am coming up blank with a way to appropriately describe them. Just not for me.
