Sounds like FO3 would be perfect for it. Only thing missing is a collection of evil robots to fight.
It's not missing the thing you want, you'll see :)

Yeah, I was gonna say. :)
Somewhat on topic, there are negative things I could say about Fallout 3. I'm not going to though, because I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a game this much. Probably Psychonauts, tbh. I think it helps that the difficulty is much more varied than it was in Oblivion, without being the ease-fest Morrowind was.

I'm so excited to play this game! I'm getting the collector's edition for Christmas... I have well above the recommended minimum specs, except for my video card, which is a 6800 Ultra. I'm hoping it runs just fine on my system.

It'll run okay at medium-ish, but you'd be much better off with something in the vicinity of an 8600/8800 GT or higher. If your system's well above the recommended requirements, the 6800's going to be quite the bottleneck for all your games in general. The 8-series cards aren't that expensive now, either.

I could, but it'd be a waste. When half the ports on your computer are officially deprecated, you know it's time to move on.
Yeah, true. But if you don't have the cash for a complete overhaul, 80 bucks isn't much for a nice little boost in the meantime.
On another topic altogether, I'm surprised no one has gayed this thread up with THIS IS PICTURE OF MY CHARACTER posts yet. Guess I'll get this ball rolling...

Despite it's minor flaws i really liked it, i even bought it with my expectations being something like "Yeah it's Oblivion with guns and it's gonna be crap"
It seems i was really really wrong, while not a perfect 10/10, 100% etc that the reviews go on about it was pretty damn nice i'd rate it somewhere around 8.5/10.
I finished the game in just over 30 hours and instantly backed 2 saves to before starting the last mission so i could go explore first, which i have for about 5 hours now and still haven't seen all of it. Like i didn't get a single companion before beating it, also only made 2 of the weapons and maybe explored 60% of the locations.
Stuff that annoyed me include: Bad pathfinding, Downtown being really just small areas lapped together with subways at every corner, and some animations are indeed lacking but not as bad as Oblivion.
While not perfect, it still held my attention for 35+ hours which haven't happened in quite some time, probably not since i played Deus Ex for the first time some years ago.
Btw, looking good > protection (i just hide behind Mutant guy anyway:D )
