Space was becoming an issue in the old post, so I am remaking the thread with one category per post. Remember the fan mission listing is for you to use. The less of you that add your 2 cents, the less overall use the thread will be.
I need suggestions on fan missions that largely involve spiders, and fan missions that largely involve heights to flesh out the phobic section and a new section for heights. Either the mission needs to be 50% or more involving the subject or it needs a totally unavoidable spot that represents the ultimate in the subject.
An example of the former for undead would be ANIR-Ink and dust. An example of the latter for undead would be ANIR-A new beginning.
Suggestions for other categories will also be taken under consideration at this time.
I am also interested in "must plays" dating from 2009 and onwards. For them to be included they will need at least 5 recommendations and/or high scoring on thiefmissions or the circle.

Just wanted to say to all those people who made suggestions in the current thread that all your ideas are being discussed now so none of that effort has been wasted.

I wonder, why you dropped the list of the most recommended missions and replaced it with a list of threads. I think that list existed precisely for that, so people don't need to dig their way through those threads anymore, and have a handy list instead.

kamyk was going to produce a list but was unable to come back and do that. Collating all the information is more work than any one else could take on. We were going to leave that category out altogether but in the end, I thought that at least the list of threads would be easily accessible if they were included.

That was nickie's idea, one that I, as the person who actually did all the categorising, fully agreed with.
Whilst options for the updating of the thread were being discussed nickie, Kamyk and I discussed every possible way that we could compile a list of 'Must Plays', however we could not think of a way to introduce a system that accurately reflected the huge range of missions and their popularity. What you may consider a must play, others may consider to be absolutely rubbish
Part of the problem is that in the early days the TTLG community regularly voted on missions scoring them out of 10, but rarely did many people actually score missions, so some missions got a a massive score on the back of just one person rating it highly, whilst others were rated badly because only 1 or 2 people voted and one of those people did not like that mission, so although the scoring system was a good basis for Kamyk's original 'must play' list, neither nickie or I considered it to be a solid or fair basis for the updated thread.
Ever since kamyk included the 'must play' section, nickie and the other moderators have had people suggest we add this or that mission to the section, only for other people in immediately argue that it should not be included, so for the last 10 years this section has been more of a headache than a blessing, in the meantime no-one has ever come up with a good idea as to how we could put together a 'must play' section without causing more arguments that solving them.
If you can think of system that would be fair, accurate and received with support with the majority of the community we would consider it, in the meantime nickie's option seems to be the best solution
