I could write reams about the work that's gone into the upgrade of the (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=144797) MbyT thread. But we all know we can't cope with more than a few lines at a time so I'll just make a few points. ;)
fortuni began work in May last year by repairing broken links caused by the Keep's demise and the unreliability of the Circle at that time.
kamyk was able to join us for discussion in the summer on how best to upgrade and what new categories to include but unfortunately couldn't stay around till completion. We used suggestions from the original thread for new categories and we decide to give each category its own post to minimize the amount of time it took to do any editing.
After long months of hard work, fortuni has categorised all T1 and T2 missions (T3 will also be done at some point). He did this by either playing a mission, looking at screenshots, reading a review or one of Ricebug's walkthroughs (thank you Ricebug!). So there may well be the odd mission in the wrong category (let us know) and I'd ask any author who thinks his/her mission should be moved/removed, to also let us know. TDM authors are very welcome to give me additional categories for their missions. Most FMs are in 4-6 categories.
clearing kindly provided missing screenshots and there are now very few missions with missing links. If anyone comes across a screenshot link or forum thread link to fill those missing ones then I'd appreciate that info too.
And I still have a few odd bits and pieces of tidying to do, some NewDark thread links to existing entries and some completely new entries, but by and large this is no longer a WiP. I won't go into detail about some of the new categories but please ask if you have any questions about them.
My very grateful thanks to fortuni for the phenomenal amount of work he's done on this - it wouldn't have happened otherwise.

And a huge Thank you Nickie for all the time you put into this, especially the utterly tedious but essential task of pasting 4000 odd entries into their respective locations..:thumb:

Thank you all for your hard work! I know exactly how much work is involved in such an undertaking and I greatly appreciate your efforts. I haven't had time to look through it all yet, but I noticed a couple of changes I like - especially the solution to the "must play" situation. That was genius.
Nickie, I added a link to your initial post since it lacked one for some reason. Perhaps it fell out somewhere along the line. :cheeky:

Great work guys. I love that thread, use it all the time, and the updated/new categories and clarity are awesome - thank you to all involved. A smorgasbord of tasty Thiefy delights :thumb:

No, I kind of assumed that people knew where it was so just didn't think about it - thank you. I'm actually waiting to find that nothing works now I've moved it. I had to redo the whole new thread twice, I think, as links kept pointing to the wrong thing no matter how many times I did them. Luckily Al_B came to the rescue and sorted it out. I was beginning to tear my hair out. :)

Thank you very much to all involved! I've since now discovered quite a few gems that I missed before :D
