Fan Mission Listing by Type. (Ie. Horror, Mansion, City, Most recommended, etc) WIP - by kamyk

There are far too many to name them all but I think you should look (
http://forums.eidosgames.com/showthread.php?t=74580) here to start with. This is a thread for people to post their ghosting reports when they've ghosted or, attempted to ghost, a mission. The first post contains a list of all the successes and the second post has a list of all the failures.
Most serious ghosters will try to ghost any mission and aren't really looking for those that are made to be ghosted. They are usually too easy. The real challenge comes from trying to ghost something that was never intended to be ghostable. But, if you look at the FMs listed in the "success" list, you will at least see a list of missions which are possible to ghost. But that doesn't say anything about how difficult or fun it was to do so. You'd need to read the reports for that.
As for just stealthy, fun-to-ghost missions, the first one that comes to mind is
Equilibrium. After I've had a chance to think about it a bit, I'm sure I can think of more.

That's kind of what I figured about them trying "all" of them. That thread link is exactly what I was looking for. You're the best! ;)

Can anyone think of any outstanding FMs that are geared toward (...) mainly stealthy gameplay?
Erm... most of them? :p
It would be much easier to add a category(-ies?) for a non-stealth-oriented missions. Combat oriented, missions with no enemies to avoid, missions that force killing or knocking-out or simply are not ghostable for some reason.
Or a category for missions with forced ghosting.

We have a few category suggestions which may be introduced later and yours can be added to the list for consideration. At the moment, I'm waiting for suggestions for missions that haven't been listed at all, including T3.

48 Hour Contest added.
My thanks to Beleg Cúthalion and clearing for the TDS missions which I'm now working on.

I added a "mission type" column to the Fan Mission wiki at The Dark Mod so you can sort by name, age, or type (etc). I tried to match what was here but most
missions have many characteristics. For example, Let Sleeping Thieves Lie has a sewer, a city section, tombs and a large church (cathedral?).... what do you categorize it as? To me, the defining trait of this mission is the weird tomb passage to which leads out of the city. So I categorized it as a Tombs and Catacombs mission. I tried to spread the representation of various mission types listed there to show a bit more about the diversity of the missions while staying as true as possible to the defining characteristics of each mission.
I've requested that FM authors send me corrections if needed.
There's a few missions listed here that aren't in your list so feel free to update accordingly.

Thank you. I've been thinking about the recent Dark Mod missions and contemplating kicking someone to give me the info for where to put them. I'll certainly add in the missing ones and I'll add that link into the Links sticky as well.

Added the majority of TDS missions but there are still some to be added:
Garden of the Wizard, The
Kings and Queens
Lord Julian's Labyrinth
Unknown Temple
Defender of the Crown
Impurities in the Mix
Skulduggery
Two Steps
The last 4 don't have a category so maybe someone can suggest one for them.
Also I see I've not yet done the Emilie Victor and Black Frog entries. I get easily distracted so give me a gentle kick if I forget to do something.

Gentle kick : ( :p:ebil: ) Between these dark walls appears duplicated (in Thieves Highway section), and The Den/L'Arsène #4 is also displayed twice in the Mansion section (there is The Den/L'Arsène #4 and L'Arsène 4 : the Den).
I also noticed all links leading to keepofmetalandgold are... let's not say dead, but they lead to message saying the website is temporarily unavailable. I hope it's indeed temporary, or else, that'll mean more work :(
Eventually, may I suggest adding Shadow Politics by Skacky in City missions? Here are the links for (
http://www.thiefmissions.com/m/ShadowPolitics) download, (
http://darkfate.org/view/details/files/fan-missions/thief1/shadow_politics/screenshots) screenshots and (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=139048) thread.
EDIT: May I suggest (again?!) adding (
http://www.thiefmissions.com/m/Eclipsed) Eclipsed in the Horror section? :D Thread : (

Done...and perhaps also (
http://www.thiefmissions.com/m/AmongTwoStorms) Among Two Storms, for the Sewers section, and maybe Keep busy one too (at least, me, I sometimes found it hard to know how to continue between Palmer and Garrett). Thread: (

Screens: (

Added to Sewers but not Keep Busy. It's not really a very long mission once you figure out the switching bit.

Didn't hurt a bit. :)
I've done the deletions (thanks) but I won't be able to do anything else for a couple of weeks, though Nightwalker might.
I know about the site and I believe Komag is trying to get it fixed at the moment.
