Thanks Ottoj55 - that was very tricky!! I have now progressed and have one more question now. [SPOILER]The gas chamber door code is 4 digit but the badge number is 2 digit. I tried entering it twice but to no avail.[/SPOILER] I'd like to get the poor sod out of there if I can.

Honest guv [SPOILER]I've got a shiny yellow badge spinning round with Badge Number 20 underneath[/SPOILER] I expect I could do something with the screen size or resolution or whatever but I would get shouted at for changing things on work computers. Please put me (and Garrett) out of our misery. I want to find out what I've missed so I can go back and do it again. Its been great fun and I love puzzles.

this sounds like a technical error, the badge should when in inventory display underneath it a text description. if you have the donuts, third lockpick, gas bomb do they display a text description? if not then you are missing the objnames.str file from the str folder. if you can read these items then you should be able to read the text description of the badge.

Yes you are correct, the storage area is marked on the map.
I use the tunnel key to open the storage room door (only key that will work), and the tunnel key to open the sewer. I go down the ladder, walk by the check valve for steam tunnel 2, and down another ladder.
There are five lights in one room, and a couple power lines.
I see no switch or lock to find the stuff.
So....what is the secured storage key supposed to unlock?

the secured storage key should unlock the [SPOILER]secured storage room in the cellar, the one with the watcher. [/SPOILER]
location: [SPOILER]It's beneath the evidence room, as far as I remember, in a seperate part of the cellar. You've got to go down the ladder close to the evidence room.[/SPOILER]

Ottoj55 - I have all the other descriptions as they should be - its only that one that's incomplete. Weird I know but knowing me, that's not surprising!! Thanks for the info and also for this great fm, I've really enjoyed it and its definitely one I'll play again on another level.
