Very glad to hear this. Even if the artificial heart is a temporary measure, I hope it serves him well for as long as possible.

I bet it's maybe not the most comfortable thing to have installed inside of you, but as long as it keeps you breathing and your blood circulating, one can hardly complain, right ? ;) Again, all the best and may you have a calm and easy period of life ahead of you.
