This is Andrei Shevchenko at the height of his prowess hitting the ball with absolute authority into the exact part of the goal the keeper couldn't get to, which is also nowhere near any other AC Milan player
As for the Bergkamp goal, it's a sublime bit of skill but not as impressive, to my mind, as getting the ball, beating 3 defenders for strength and speed then shooting from outside the penalty box, while moving away from the goal
And yeah, Maradona's 2nd goal was astonishing

Hurrah for mid table mediocrity (next to my fellow Matthew)
A really great weekend of football in the Premiership. Chelsea putting 'borough to the sword, Spurs staying on the bottom against 2nd bottom Stoke, Hull winning again! and lots of other really great games. And we have the Champion's League matches to look forward to this week :D
Tottenham were fairly unlucky really, Bale got a straight red on 20 minutes for taking out Soares just inside the penalty area, Dawson got a straight red 4 minutes from time for a fairly dodgy, though seemingly non-malicious, tackle.
It seems impossible that Tottenham could go down but I have to admit it would be pretty hilarious if they did.

I suck so bad this year. Last match I left out Stephen Ireland cos Man City were playing Liverpool, and he scored. This week I left out Zaki for the same reason... and he scored two.
No way is Fat Frank leaving my XI next weekend.
