Anyone wanna knock out the co-op missions some time?

Damn I just heard about it, Blood Dragon looks amazing ! I love the synthwave genre, power glove is one of my favorite artists, among others like perturbator, Nickee B or protector101. Even though the game looks like some kind of a joke, I'll buy it asap on PC just for the soundtrack and the cyber b movie atmosphere.
The 80s are the future ! :D

I just got the 3rd piece of the compass!

My god, I'm probably going to play this before the main campaign. And I fucking loathe the 80's.

I broke my no-preorder rule to get this game. It's hilarious. Certainly wish more such brain-wrecking games were made!

Okay just finished this after sinking 50 hours into it.... well steam says 50 hours, though I am sure about 6-10 of those were just it running paused in the background.
Great game, still has the hallmarks of dumbed down modern accessibility crap I am afraid - to wit:
1. Why the hell do you have scripted on the rail shooting sequences and quick time events in a free form FPS. I spend 99% of the time running\shooting\driving\hunting\sky diving\boating\swimming for my life and then 1% hitting LMB\RMB\LMB and then space to beat the bad guy?!? What a gip. I guess it would be better if I had a controller with force feedback, and compared to FC2 I can see why they wanted to introduce such an element to progress the story, and it was not as bad as it could have been... but still there is no place for this crap in PC gaming (excellent console ports such as Batman get a pass on this).
2. The PAY ATTENTION TO ME and THIS WAY YOU IDIOT hud. I am pleased though that you can adjust the hub slightly to make it more difficult if you would like to (though not to the full extent that you should be allowed to... apparently there is a mod that will allow you to hide the mini map etc to make it even better, this should have been an option in the game). The adjustments seem to work as a decent enough compromise for the hard core gamers, the wanna be hard core gamers who just do not have the time, and the moronic masses that seem to pervade nowadays since Maggie thatcher (and her ilk) destroyed British society. I fell into the wanna be hardcore games - I had to pay with the detection meter on, I just would not have the time otherwise, or would have to adjust the difficultly back down.
There were also massive difficulty spikes (
ink monster and communication hub shootout ).
Anyway - I only actually posted to provide a link to this....

Imagine if Vaas's 'scenes' had not been tied to stupid scripted and limited\fixed movements... the actor is excellent, I would have probably stayed still out of complete fear for that insane fiend. (If could be easily done too - keep you in a fixed position by having a guard that insta-kills you if you move out of a specific radius when Vaas is screaming at you.
Edit: oh just incase it is not clear I did love the game and it is definitely the best game since Dishono(u)red. I have high hopes for theif given the trend to now allow customisation of stupid hub elements (so long as the actual story and game are designed with the hub elements set to the 'hardest' possible setting.. e.g. give appropriate IN GAME hints on the locations of import objects etc and not resort to flashing on screen elements like everything important emits dangerous levels of radiation.

Quoting the part where Raven blames Margaret Thatcher for Far Cry 3's HUD elements, for posterity.
