Dark Souls II will be out on the PS3 too as well.

Yeah, looking forward to that. I am crashing through the 1st game, currently (I actually like it more than the sequel).

I am actually tempted to get a PS3 just for Demon's Souls (though I'd probably use the opportunity to check out Ico, SotC & maybe some MGS & Silent Hill games). I'm sure (I hope) they'll come down in price when the 4 is out. I super-hope the 4 is backwards-compatible so people will have no quibbles about selling their old PS3s

It's not. Well, they're planning to have PS3 games available for streaming using Gaikai or something similar.

The PS3 has become kind of the clear end-game winner these days in the current generation of consoles. The PSN store has a strong library full of classic PS1 and PS2 games, there's a good collection of exclusives as well as multi-platform games that feel most at home on the PS3... it's really grown on me and my 360 is collecting dust.
faetal on 23/4/2013 at 17:42
It took its time, but you're right.
For the longest time, the 360 was THE console of choice and all the forums ever were circulating their "PS3 haz noe gaemzzz loleleven" memes like wildfire, but now it seems like PS3 is the one everyone talks about and most of the games I regret not being able to play on the PC tend to be on that more than the 360 (with some overlap, but not much).
All this of course is using forums and my little bro as a barometer.

It's been confirmed a thousand times over that there will be no traditional back compat with the PS4, including for PS3 digital distribution games from PSN. Completely different architecture for one (x86-based). It won't read CDs either, so there goes the PS1 BC (PS3 plays PS1 game discs).
There's been talks of streaming possibly classics through Gaikai. No doubt another way to sucker consumers by offering another subscription service and/or reselling them games that they already own.

Blood Dragon...
This is the game my 8-year old self wanted desperately to exist. Now, it does. So good.
gunsmoke on 1/5/2013 at 19:42
Yeah, it's out. Grabbing this on the 6th.

For the continued agony of EvaUnit's ears, and the continue delight of the rest of the internet, I've made another video!

Ok, that's it. That'll be my last FC3 video.
Until I play Blood Dragon.
Which I'm gonna do tomorrow.
