Far Cry 2 let you tag static areas in the environment with certain features (mounted guns, healthkits, ammo supplies, sniper perches, etc) but it certainly didn't have the magic radar ability that FC1/FC3 have.

Did the mission where I blow a bunch of shit up with Sam tonight. The turret sequence was the most difficult part in the game yet. Had to switch it down to Hard eventually to get past it. On the plus side I got to hang out with Sam! He's a cool guy.
