I love "no saves"! Gets new adrenaline in the old blood!

Ghosting is the best :ebil: Only for fanciers!

I jokingly went with BJ, But I think I'm an amalgam of both adventure, assassin and blackjack. Dunno what category that is, tho.
Funny how only 2% so far consider themselves 100% loot thieves.

In real life a thief would never kill anyone? Yeah, right:erg:.
You're a thief, not a murderer :ebil: And yeah, in real life this worths for the same: senses of guilt, that could bring also to suicide, life or very long imprisonment, hanging or electric chair are good deterrent to avoid to kill, that's why there's so few people that kills when they steals.

The great majority of thefts involve no murder or attempted murder. Garrett isn't doing hold-ups or walking into a business waving his weapon around and threatening to kill anyone that doesn't cooperate. He's not executing people for hire.

i like exploring and ghosting but i do ghost when there's like no other thing to do :p, ah when i use to explore that involved blackjacking too, so i could just walk around in the entire mission, hated the monsters in TDP too, those zombies and spiders gave me nightmares 10 years ago :(

I chose explore because it is not only how I approach Thief, but also every game that I play.

I am new in this. I played thief for a few long years, but joining a community is something new to me. So i'm not sure if this 'ghosting' refers to just quick run through level just to make required loot and finish it without any evidence. I do that, but im not in rush. I never leave evidence, but still i want to explore all level looking for loot into every corner.
But still ghosting. Definitely. No blackjack, no water arrows - lockpicks and rope arrows only. I just love it, when sometimes there is lot of guards, jumping from corner to corner, feeling every lost second and thinking 'he's going here! hury, hury, he'll see me'. And sometimes I have to leave the shadows, dance around them like I'd play 'it' with them - in the full light, upright, insolently just behind their backs.
Sometimes I let myself a little treat - killing monsters is not a crime. Killing undead is in fact a good thing.

Guilt is one. But also - if you get caught you'll be judged only for stealing, not for murdering. So yes, in real life it works the same - if you can avoid murdering avoid it. If you cant - there are also lover difficult levels, so go on, take your sword, go all medieval on their asses.
(i kinda like to relax, forget about doing missions and just fight with guards to get some practice with a sword. I miss that in T3, but dagger fits a thief better)

Sorry, haven't felt that, it's a pc game! Oh, you mean in real life...:p even in those cases, botched robberies do lead to murder. :D

Whether Garret is caught or killed, the end of the mission is the same, failure. Doesn't matter if he killed anyone or not generally, assuming you don't play on expert level where several missions preclude killing anyone.

But gaijinalways WAS talking about real life. Im not saying that thief dont kill. We are just saying it is better not to kill, and most peaple, thieves of not, know it.
What you're talking about (about goals and difficulty level) is "just finish the game" attitude. You're having fun goofing around with guards. Others (like me) are having fun by finishing it even with increased level: not just 'dont kill' but evet not alarming any guard, not knocking out anyone, with no torches put down, no doors left open and no rope arrows left.
