MA: Ambush - I think. The part where you run into the monkey men. (don't mind the city part at all, or even the village part. . .hate the monkey part!)
Ambush didn't have any monkey men or village. It was all city.
I never hated any of the OM, but my favorites:
DP: Return to the Cathedral - Only mission that actually scared me. I've been conditioned enough that none of them OM or FM are scarey.
TG: Song of the Caverns - Yes, Garrett arrived just in time to perform a duet with the hermit.
TMA - It's a tie between Ambush and First City Bank and Trust.
TDS - Cradle - To me it had the best ambience.

Favourite from TDP is Cragscleft; the diverse environments pulled off in a daytime setting, coupled with the first exposure to zombies and Hammerites really make it a complete package. The best of Thief 2 is a toss up between the Bank and Life of the Party.
As for Soulforge, that place is actually quite interesting since it managed to bring some terror and dread to a Mechanist installation, finally delivering a mission worthy of a title like "The Metal Age". There's just something haunting and oppresive about being alone with a madman and all his soulless creations in a giant industrial factory. The design may be questionable, but the atmosphere is right on.

Haunted Cathedral, Constantine's Manor, Angelwatch, Markham's Isle, and Soulforge come to my mind for favorites. I don't particularly hate any missions.

Of course it is.
Dumbass.
While I am advocate of good grammar and spelling as well, but I do not think it should be brusquely forced on people unecessarily (bringing attention to 1-3 mistakes in a post as opposed to 10). Keep Grammar Nazi Legion where it belongs (Commchat). Thank you.

no seriously, way to miss ZB's point, FJ. "buh" is not in the dictionary, no. that's because it's not a word- but it IS a wordless sound put to text. hence it's an onomatopoeia. much like "brrr". is that a word? no, but we know it to mean someone is cold. another example would be "fap." now, technically, fap IS in the dictionary, but not the way we of the internet generation know it to mean.
to conclude, you picked a fight with him, and now you're acting all butthurt.

Buh isn't a sound of a jet engine, the sound of a bee flapping it's wings, the sound of someone pissing, or the sound of a book hitting the floor. Buh is the sound an idiot makes when not properly enunciating the words they are speaking. That's not onomatopoeia.

Apology accepted. Nothing wrong with slipping up now and again. :)
