Ooh, and Anachronox, but then I liked most of the music in that one.

Thanks Livo and nicked, didn't remember that :) Guess that means it's time for a replay...

Warcraft 2 and 3 had some good ending music. In the case of WC3 you had that extra scene at the faire or whatever it was going on as well, which made it better.

For some reason the first ending theme that came to my mind when reading this was from Gargoyle's Quest. Good game, good beepy soundtrack.

Nod ending was fucking awesome as well.
I recently finished the first MGS again, on psp this time. "The best is yet to come" still sends shivers down my spine everytime I hear it.

I love this song.
Also, not just being sentimental, but the end credits music for Thief really was pretty awesome.
The Final Fantasy arrangements are very good ... maybe the final theme to (

I love this song.
Ditto, nothing is even close IMO.
Gears of War's 'Cole Train' was funny as hell. BOOM
'Outcast' and 'Unreal' (as mentioned).
Shiny's 'Messiah' end theme.
Mafia's ending score deserves mention as well IMO.

GOD why do people fucking like that song so much? Seriously, why? Explain it to me. I do not understand that song's popularity. I'm not saying it's bad, but it's not fucking "2112" for fuck's sake. It's just a silly little song written by John Colton (who I never even heard of before Portal) to wrap up the game and put an endcap on the somewhat silly humour.
