Okay there are a lot of mediocre or outright bad suggestions in this thread but bloody Minecraft? It's just some guy randomly hitting the piano. Not a real piano even, some shitty synthesizer piano. It barely even works IN the game, much less outside of it.

Yes it's some guy randomly hitting a piano.
What the fuck.

Agreed on Need for Speed 1 (NFSHS you mean.) I went so far as to rip all the songs from the game and made a CD from it many years ago. All the newer NFS games opted for the rock and rap route instead of techno, which is a bit of a bummer as I think techno fits racing better.
NFSHS = Need for Speed : High Stakes? In that case, that's Need for Speed 4. Need for Speed 1 is just (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Need_for_Speed) "The Need for Speed".
And it's been forever since I played Need for Speed 2 (lost my copy), and I've barely touched my copy of NFS1 for PS1 that I picked up reallly late, but I can agree on the Need for Speed 3 music at least. Great stuff

Any Duke Nukem fan who has not listened to this song at least 10 times is missing out! This is not the DN theme.

This is a remix made by the guy who originally composed the track in the first place. (Mark Knight)
I wanted to put this song on my MP3 player and sure enough, the original author actually posted it on his own web site. I'm not sure whether I like this remix better than the original though... it has more "depth" and a wider frequency range, but the piano loops in the original were better and there is always something wonderful about simplicity.

Wow that is a translation from the PC version. The new drums make the tune much better though. I remember thinking that song sounded awesome on a wavetables card... lol

I like that it maintains that feel of choking, burning heat.
I also like that it retains the traveling siren effect.
