Out of all the games (excluding FMs here; simply too many of them,) what would you say your favourite mission was? Personally, I think Cragsclefft was probably my favourite; Hammers, Zombies and prisoners. What else can I say? ;)
Letting those prisoners run riot whilst getting chased by Hammers was classic, also I loved the diversity in the way that you could play on normal and simply get Felix's map, or have the whole package of getting out with Basso and getting the Beggar's lucky hand thing back.

The trouble is there are so many... and it changes from month to month. At the moment I'd say the bonehoard. The underground tombs, but open and spacious, not claustrophobic... the zombies... the sense of history.

It's a typical response, but Life of the Party. The T2 demo "The Univited Guest" was my first Thief experiance 6 years ago. After that I went out and got The Dark Project and The Metal Age soon after. As such, LOTP always held a special place in my heart. Besides, even without that sentimental stuff, it's still a taffing awesome level.
Putting that aside though, I'd probably have to say I always had a thing for Framed, with Down in Bonehoard being a close follow.

I've only played Thief Gold so far, and I've never run all the way through,
(((I know, I know --- I get distracted, then I want to start the whole thing over, and I usually end up straitening my personal rules of behavior each time, which slows things down gobs. I am now about to start Assassins on my forty-seven-thousanth bid, and I've eased the rules a bit to allow me to actually finish the thing sometime soon and move on the T2, which is sitting beside my computer awaiting my unwholesome attentions)))
but I'm going to have to say that the Bonehoard has a certain gorgeous atmospheric creepiness that keeps me coming back for more. I also enjoy the sneak-about-in-a-"real"-place missions, but the last time I checked, they don't have a Horn of Quintus keening away in the background.
OK, I should be honest: In the past, before I became the enlightened individual who now pens this post, I have been known to be so discombooberated by zombies that I would end up postponing the start of RTC indefinitely, the better to really savor the experience. How can this be true, when Bonehoard has always been one of my favorites? I have no idea.

I do. Haunts and little room to run and hide!:eww:

LOTP, in the sense that it can seem nonlinear at times. Especially the T2 demo. And of course, the archer fight!
ROTC, because I had become so zombie paranoid, the jaunty tone of Brotha M-izzle was a welcome relief.
Undercover. "SWEET! They arent attacking me!" {yet...}
Interference, the BG music upstairs.

Depends which Thief one is playing (I can only speak for the first two). TDP and Metal Age are quite different in mission design.
TDP: Bonehoard slightly over RTTC. The crypt complex was a hit and the three main goals on Expert were all cleverly built (fully little things like calm-down burricks listening the horn). And the haunt guarding the Heart...
RTTC comes second due to extra running around caused by Murus.
MA: Sabotage at Soulforge. The whole mission is huge! At first attempt it seems impossible and the number of those hulking robots. And when the first spider bot comes around the corner...

Probably the bank. It's so fucking tense in there it's unreal, yet thankfully not as annoying as Soulforge.

I liked Assassins, except for the name of the mission.
I loved Garrett's matter-of-fact reaction to seeing someone unwittingly take an arrow for him.
Ramirez's mansion was a good mix of decoration and exposed stone.

Ooh, a harsh question. As Yamentha said, how can you pick one? Not to mention the mood ebbs and flows with times...
Currently the fondest memories could go with Bonehoard, just at border of the octagons and the burrick caves ("Piped-in music, huh?"). Just standing there, listening at the edge of hearing, how the Horn plays ever on, and the zombies moan nearby...
Or perhaps Shipping, and Receiving. Or Gervaisius' manor. Or Abysmal Gale (Don't ask).
