I'm still singing Video Killed the Radio Star. God knows how old that song is.
30 years now. IIRC it was MTV's first music video broadcast, ever.
Back to topic: there's a lot of good game tracks to be heard on YouTube now. Like (
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=seqDUPHk-k8) Ocean Lab 2 (if you don't have the game/can't figure out how to play .umx).

Just play them in the editor. Audacity can record it for you. Must be some player out there that can play umx files.

This. The whole soundtrack is brilliant, but this one and Clipping Their Wings can be singled out as my absolute favorites. Zero from Ace Combat Zero is also very cool.

Or use a MOD player like (
http://www.un4seen.com/xmplay.html) XMPlay. If you want it for an MP3 player, turn on the Wave writer then encode the output.

The Battlefield 1942 and Bad Company theme...a full symphony did it in Norway. In a word, it's epic: (

Like everyone else, the Deus Ex theme.
The Call of Duty 2 soundtrack, while not genre breaking, is quite touching, especially this bit: (

While I didn't like FF IX's OST all that much, there's this folk rearrangement of one of its tracks that I think everyone should listen to - (

It's very beautiful.
