Ah shit, Max Payne 2 had some crackers. I still listen to The Fall Of Max Payne theme regularly, as well as having a soft-spot for the Badalamenti-esque sounds of the Fairground level and another good 'un was when he and Mona are getting it on.

The first time I heard the DX theme I thought it was a little lame ... it's almost too iconic, like they're trying too hard. But it's grown on me since.
I liked the arrangements in Homeworld in their atmosphere.
One of the radio songs in GTAIII had a chorus that went "Feels like I just can't take no more; honestly, I've hit the floor" ... and at the time I was playing that game a lot in lawschool that's about how I felt, so the song really stuck with me. And often I'd play it when I was overworked just to drive fast on the highway and listen to that song. So I'll pick that one.

Mega Man 2 - toss up between Bubble Man's and Air Man's theme for being incredibly fun songs to play on guitar.
Bionic Commando's main theme also gets props for being totally badass "marching off to explode Hitler's head" music.

I don't think I found the music in MP2 quite as memorable for some reason, although the song that played at the credits got stuck in my head, the one that Mona sang badly in the shower...

Homeworld. All of it, but the Angus Dei is just genius. Do yourself a favour and get it somehow. Really.
Thief 1 + 2. Intros and cutscenes
Morrowind. Intro
Diablo 1. Tristam music.
Unreal Tournament 1. All of it.
Max Payne 2. Has some really cool stuff. Poets of the fall FTW!
Indigo prophecy // Fahrenheit. "Sandpaper kisses" oozes cat-like style

From Silent hill 2, True. I play that game a lot, and work on my speedrun skill, but every time, that song evokes emotion.
The final fantasy games (10 especially) have so much excellent music they almost belong in a different category.

Honorable mentions
Underworld Part 2 - "" - Unreal Tournament
I'd forgotten what a great soundtrack UT had, musically it blows every Unreal based sequel out of the water.
"Razorback" (By Skaven/Peter Habja of the now defunct Future Crew), "Course" and "Foregone" spring to mind.

Hm there was this SNES game called Soul Blazer, which had some pretty catchy music in some evil alternate worlds, called "Evil ..." or something
Contra Shattered Soldier (PS2) has some "Beginnings Boss" in the fifth stage with an awesome track
Hitman Contracts Main Theme is pretty catchy too
System Shock 1. Track 4, totally ape for it ^^
Sin. The track in that level which has you chasing Manchini
Thief. Assassins, of course
Running Man (C64). Just an endlessly looping simple melody, but i had it running half an hour once without noticing :b
Red Faction 2. Many great tracks
Manhunt. Ditto, altho probably better heard ingame
Farcry. Outside stuff is pretty average mostly but the labs and facilities got some really good ones
Beavis and Butthead (SNES) Rocky :cheeky:

Manhunt! Indeed! The (action) track in that level where you have to escort that bum is fantastic, reminds me a lot of the movie Halloween.
