Where the heck do you find the code to open the vault door? Or at least a clue? I've punched in every 1, 2, and 3 combo, but the light still won't turn green ... :confused:

I don't believe there is a written combination somewhere. I do remember that you had to press in some buttons and pull them out again. For example, hit 1, then 2, then pull 2 out again, then hit 3. Try different combinations like this.

The order to push the buttons in is: middle, top, bottom, middle
To reset the buttons and start fresh, push the small button. :)

I ended up randomly pounding away at the buttons to get the light to go green then flip the switch. I do like how the locks had a bit more "skill" needed instead of the usual 1, 2 or 3 pick swap to unlock.

You have to press the buttons in the cellar in a certain sequence:
Center/middle button, top, bottom, center/middle. I am not certain whether there is a not-too-obscure readable telling that to the player.
P.S.: There should also be a red button that serves as the "reset button". Press it if you have not used the other buttons in the correct sequence, or if you're not sure.

Argh! I took ages to get that last safe open (downstairs in the vault). :rolleyes: I thought there must be a bug. Still not quite sure how I did it. Good little mission. :thumb:
