I quite like the 'Deeds' in Lord of the Rings Online, though perhaps they don't count because a lot of them come with tangible in-game benefits such as combat modifiers.

Armored Princess will have something like this too.
I don't mind, because of my munchkin nature.

little? If the bad news keep coming I might start calling Monolith Monofilth. :erg:
Among other names...
I don't mind 'achievements'. Whatever. I have played a couple 360 games and saw a few wild objectives that made me wonder how to get them. It inspires a chase after you are finished w/the main game. Sorta like replay.

As far as achievements are concerned I am not particularly bothered by them, however I would like the option to turn off the in game display that pops up when you complete one. While you're at it add options for removing control help messages too. Surely that stuff wouldn't be difficult to implement?

Well I bought it, but I'm giving the original a replay to refresh my memory. Since I'm cutting out the expansions this time (except maybe after FEAR 2) it won't be long before I get to FEAR 2, so hang tight.

This should be interesting, looking forward to your impression.

I was planning to give the first one a replay as well, but I don't have the DVD handy, my brother put it somewhere in his room and I can't find it, so I have to ask him when he gets home, unfortunately that is a rare occasion.
FEAR 2 will hopefully be in stores here tomorrow when I begin my search, it is surprisingly common that Iceland misses the EU release day by several days or even weeks.

I just realised that Steamworks basically eliminates the 2nd hand market for this title. Not like I sell my games anyway, just saying.

Seconded
Also: EvaUnit.....I can't remember the last time I was able to buy/sell a used PC game (that wasn't a legacy game). This is a concept that should be very obvious by now.

My copy of Invisible War is used. When I played it, I realized why.
