Feeling Nostalgic... - by Hanse

BA and Vas, those pictures are.... terrifying. ;)
I do have some things I can scrape off my hard drive, mainly the portraits that Shades did of a bunch of the TTLGers. There are about 24 of them, I'll try to post them later.. when I'm not submerged in Skyrim. ;)

Aww...you guys! I still love this place. I secretly hope that T4 will kick ass and we'll all be back in Thief Gen again talking about it and playing each other's fan missions. I'd love to see more traffic here, more coverage of new games, and some stuff to lure the old folks back on a regular basis. I think we've spent so much time together over the years that there's not much left to discuss. I've often thought about some way to revive the place legitimately or reboot it or whatever. Mostly, I just enjoy the memories and sparring with everyone on Facebook though.
Great to see you, Hanse. :) Seeing you sure brings back a few things /Lando

What this thread needs is the pics GBM photoshopped of the TTLG administration as monkeys.
No, wait. :erm:

Right on, fett, you've summarized my feelings perfectly (even though I was one that left in the first place ;)). I am trying to be optimistic about T4 since it's in the hands of Eidos Montreal, who did a kickass job with Deus Ex Human Revolution, though it's a different development team no doubt sooo... here's hoping.

O.M.G. !
Superhero mugshots.
Also that photo of Noid & emaciated goat is adorable. There's no other word.
@Hanse, you might be interested in seeing the member avatar, uh, (
www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=137018) image thingies I made not too long ago. It includes some oldschool members.
It strikes me sometimes, the only reason I wasn't here in 1999-2000 was because I went to Japan and didn't have home access to internet (and then 2001-02 was the first year of lawschool!). But I was dromeding as soon as dromed first came out on the CDs (1999 or so?) all through that period, so I felt an instant kinship as if I'd been here much longer than I had.
Edit: I wanted to be in a clan. Which was the coolest? I seemed to recall a Larcenio Haul... Sounds like a hip place to me. ... Not sure about Foofie.

Ah god, Sombras. Now I've got to go search for that (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=100147) letter he wrote. WHY, WHY U MAKE ME CRY????
Also regarding that flame war thread, I need to go back in time and teach myself how to curse at people. Lame shit. :|
