I seek an older T2 mission without any custom textures at all, I think.
As far as I can recall, it all takes place inside or at least not under the open sky.
There is a lot of in between walls passages with hidden entrances, and one of the passages lead to a mechanist area. Not a large one, but a hallway with some rooms and a tiny chapel.
At the end of a certain hallway with carpets, is an important area with City Watch, and a Captain office.
I also remember that there were significant distance to be traveled in red bricked corridors and cobblestone pavement.
It's not a lot to go on but I hope that it rings a bell for someone. :D

Yeah, that's gonna be tough to call. You've described most of the early T2 missions.

Yes I know.
But when I wrote a lot of in between walls travel , I thought that it would ring a bell somewhere

I'm looking for a mission aswell.
What I can remember is a wolf like monster in a room (i think in a basement). And the way you killed it is by making a machine or something to push it into a hole. It had cutscenes I think.
Does anyone rembemer this?
(Should i make my own thread and remove this?)

A King's Story maybe..

I thought of that one. I don't think it was that one. At least on my last two runs of "A King's Story" I haven't seen that. I might have missed it though. Thinking about it now... Aren't wolves in "A King's Story" friendly? The one I'm talking about was trying to kill you or some girl. I think you were saving a certain person. Hmm...

A kings story definitely has what you describe. But there are multiple ways to play, and not all of them lead you there. Perhaps on your more recent playthroughs, you took a different path?

Woodsie1, so far I have not found any mission description in my notes or my memories that completely fits your desfription and rings a bell. But here are some ideas - whether these are what you're looking for or not. you'll have to discover for yourself.
1. "Ruins of Originia" campaign, first mission. The mission starts in a subterranean mining town which has a Hammerite area that fits your description of a Mechanist area. A slightly uncommon room in there is one with a hole in the floor surrounded by ice. Dropping down, you land in an underground river. Later on, you enter an abandoned mine (the Mines of Margroth, hence the mission's title) and try to get through it. Some hidden passages can be found in that level. You also get a strange gemstone, the Gem of Ohldorf, which is also used as a light source.
This mission is also available in an earlier (beta) version for Thief 1, called "Mines of Margroth", and without the rest of the campaign.
2. "The Book of Prophecy, pt. 2: The Hidden City"
Garrett tries to find a contact in an underground city. The mission should have lots of cobblestone and brick corridors and some hidden passages. You might remember standing in front of a brothel with some, erm, suggestive sounds coming out from a window.:cheeky:
3. "Coalport", or the sequels, "Portisco Head" and "Ashcourt". "Portisco Head" consists of an underground installation, while "Coalport" mainly takes place in a city under the open sky. Has several secret passages, though.
4. Maybe one of the missions in the "Trickster's Gem Mine" series, but my memories on that one are very vague. Most of these consist of abandoned areas where I would not expect Mechanists or merchants to show up, though.
5. Maybe "Friend Basso" or its sequel, "Homo Arbor"? The first has one or two long secret passages, but mainly takes place in a city under the open sky, if my memories are correct.
