Yes, I dropped the wine on the table and she thanked me. Is it supposed to be found right after the reading of the codex or on a future day after another mission? Maybe I looked in the wrong place, where is it found in your apartment? I checked everywhere but naybe I missed it somehow.

It is usually on the little square by the table across from the fireplace. The one that looks like a portal or pressure plate. If you give her the wine, it needs to be IN HER LAP, not on the table.
You GIVE it to her, not just bring it to the room. :)

Both works, placing it on the table is valid too.
Shes too busy being mourning and talking herself crazy to even drink the wine. hehe
