Is there anyway in the Construction set to find out were an item is in the game and not use the the items ID to get it, but actually go and get it in the game??

Right click on the time in the CS, and click "info". This will create a list of cells or containers/NPCs which it can be found on; if it is in a container/NPC than you can look up the container/NPC and do the same thing.
