hopefully, this idea isn't old or stupid. i'm sure you'll let me know if it is. ;)
i thought i'd put forward the beginnings of a few sentences to see how people completed them. there are certainly some simple answers we'd all agree on, but i thought if people tackled them with an emphasis on moving beyond a fill-in-the-blank answer (i.e. "The level design in Thief is ... nonlinear!") and more toward a personal response or a unique way of saying it. i'm sure almost all takes will be reiterations of things said elsewhere, but it might be cool to have them all in one place and maybe dredge up a few new thoughts.
also, feel free to add new fragments and i'll take a stab at one of these five (obviously, i've got answers to my own already).
