That's a great idea deadman! Allow the guards to munch on the arrow after it lands. Or better yet, when they eat it, they become extremely drunk and pass out 30 seconds later!
:laff:

sNeaksieGarrett,
For the Tormentor, you need to copy the TormAxe.bin and TormAxe.cal file into your mesh directory (under Thief). If you want him without weapons, copy the Torm.bin and .cal files.
Then copy all the .GIF files into the mesh/txt directory.
Then, create an AI (like haunt). Now add Shape -> ModelName : TormAxe.
Go in game and you should have a Tormentor running around, acting like a haunt.
And remember, give credit to "Tormentus" when you release the mission. He designed the mesh, I just ported it to Thief.
ON A REALLY BAD NOTE!
I bought Deus Ex 2 to see what the new engine was going to be like. I couldn't get it running until I upgraded to DirectX 9 and the newest drivers for my video card (GeForce 4 ti 4400 ). So, it works and the engine looks like it might be good for Thief3. (If they use another user interface, the Deus Ex one is too clunky for Thief)
NOW DROMED AND THIEF DON'T WORK!
I get errors when I go into game mode. I'm shattered. I NEED MY DROMED!
I'll be working on getting this fixed for a while!

I think I'm not alone here when I say that needed to be brightened up a tad. I did it myself in Photoshop using Levels and uploaded it (smaller than the original, too) to my webspace. I hope you don't mind? :cheeky:

really poorly, disregard this. Elsewise, download!

Hey, ataricom: Someone should do that! But how would you get a guard to pick it up and eat it??:weird:

It's not that difficult. You have to do some heavy editing but it's possible. I have done something similar already. Too late to post details :bored:.

Oops, sorry about the picture. It was originally a .bmp and about 6.5Mb, so I saved it as a .jpg without checking how it would look.
As for the guard eating the arrows, you would have to make use of a lot of mprops and stims. In fact, I'll give it a try as soon as I can!

Rofl, didn't actually think the taffer would consider my suggestion ^_^
Good luck. And remember who to credit if it's a big success

SS, I loaded up DX too from the same CD (magazine freebie, right?) I looked but didn't see the editor. Is it in the package somewhere?
On the other hand, sorry about the probs. I have a gateway with a geforce4 4200 ti and loaded DX9 but didn't have any probs with Dromed.

1. Create a marker, a button and a teleport trap. An AI wouldn't hurt either :p.
2. Make an AIWatchObj link from the AI to the marker.
3. Place the teleport trap to a blue room with the marker. Link the button to the teleport trap and that to the marker.
4. Add a source to your cheese arrows. Make it activate when colliding.
5. Give a receptron to the guard. Make it teleport the marker to the position of the arrow. (If you have made the cheese arrow bounce, you could make the AI wait a while before teleporting the marker.)
6. Edit the AIWatchObj link data. Make it do what you want: Add a metaprop that makes them drunk and a stim counter that makes them get knocked out out after a while, etc. Remember to make the AI frob the button first so the marker doesn't stay in a place where other AI's could get to.
Easy. You could do a lot of modifications to it, but that would be the easiest way to do it.

Schwaa,
What video drivers are you running? I downloaded the latest from NVidia and I think that's where the trouble occured.
BTW: This is Deus Ex : Invisible War. Full version. I didn't see an editor. I'll have to look around later. I may have to go to an older version of the NVidia drivers.
