Pinkdot: No need to apologize - we taffers complain alot about things we've never even attempted to do ourselves, like making an FM. You have a fantastic start here (and all the more impressive being a first attempt). As someone else mentioned, there are a ton of great touches here, like the accumulating snow effect, great lighting, and intriguing gameplay. I'm looking forward to your tweaked version! :thumb:
Bassmanret: There is only one area in the caves you'll need to find - you'll know it when you find it - and when you do, look VERY closely ALL OVER that area to find what you need. If you need a hint:

i cant find this tree everyone knows so much about O_o and its driving me insane, its obviously one of the ones beside the tower, but how the hell do you climb them???

I think you mixed up "The First Day of Winter" and "Winter Holiday". There's no tower in "The First Day...". And there's no need to climb anywhere in "Winter Holiday".

Bukary: yes it is. But there's no tower in my mission :) And that tree is rather easy to find... As far as I remember there were some trees around the Lighthouse (=tower ?) in Winter Holidays. So, I thought that Opethian_days is trying to get to the top of Lighthouse. And those titles (both from the same contest) sound so similar...

WHEW! Finally finished! :) This one took me quite a while. In the [SPOILER]caves, I didn't notice the alternate passage BEHIND THE LADDER! [/SPOILER] That cost me a LOT of time searching in the wrong areas, but I did find "1 of 0 secrets". :confused:
It also took me much longer than I would have liked to figure out what to do with my [SPOILER]psychotic wife. At first I hid, snuck up on her and BJ'ed her (I would have preferred her doing that to me, but that's another issue...BA-DA-BOOM!!) Then, I ran around the house a few hundred times, thinking her "calming down" was based on the time she spent chasing me. I even let her club me with her ninja soupspoon once, before I decided to literally "run for the hills".[/SPOILER] Sometimes my density surprises even me. :)
Anyway, thanks PinkDot for a very unique taffing experience! :thumb:

Ok, I'm seriously stuck in this mission. I have done everything necessary (as unintuitive as it all was) and gone down in the caves. I am wandering aimlessly back and forth looking at all the pretty crystals, and even found the 1 of 0 secrets, and yes I've gone behind the ladder. All I can find in that section is EMPTY treasure chests. I have no map in my inventory. Can someone please tell me what I'm missing? Outright spoilers would be fine, as I've had enough of wandering around in the caves already.
Edit:Ugh nevermind, finally figured it out. For anyone else who might ever encounter the same problem there is a treasure map BEHIND the large chest.
No offense to anyone, but I think this was one of the most unintuitive, and unrewarding FMs I've played so far. To be fair, it was pretty, and it wasn't boring at least.
