Not even sure if their painted fingernails, just may be light reflecting off em.
All I see is dirty finger nails. :p That bow looks high powered to me, hey the man has to keep up with the times.

those dumb fucking anime shaped fingers, arms, shoulders, head. all of which are super narrow and weird looking.

I thought this quote from the Kotaku article was interesting though:
Quote:
An Eidos Montreal level designer mentions having "Designed the last level of the game."
I know games aren't always designed in chronological order, but this does indeed sound promising. It's strange though, not sure what to make of it, but check out the guy's resume. He went from:
3 months in 2008 - QA Tester for Tomb Raider Underworld
to
2008-2010 - Junior Level Designer, designed the Tai Yong Medical levels in DXHR. That's a pretty huge leap in responsibility!
to
2010 - 2012 - Level Designer, designed the last level of Thief 4. Talk about climbing the corporate ladder quickly!
I'm not knocking the guy at all, don't know anything about him, but it seems kind of odd that he went from a QA Tester to a level designer for two consecutive AAA titles. Bizarre. I always thought that any of EM's job postings had always required several years of gaming experience within the industry. :weird:

I just love having more questions than answers. :erg:

I dig it. Would be nice if it didn't have that generic demo reel music over top, but still... I really liked the vibe. His hood's a little bit wonky and... ninja-ish? But whatever. Still practical.

Hmm, this might be good. MIGHT. BE. GOOD. :)
At least there's no signs of ugly blue. That was really the sticking point for me, w/ TDS. Garrett looks a little more like a ninja though, don't he? :laff:

I dunno, looks like the bow upgrade might become reality after all... :sly:

It's the first cinematics from an unreleased video. I don't think the look is quite finished. I love the bow and scoff at everyone who's complaining about it. Garret has always been one to keep up with modern technology so it's more than ok that he has a better bow now. It's also very probable that a such a bow could be in a steampunk world. It's also a good way to alter the gameplay, if the bow's use differs from the previous titles.

He has an automatically popping-up compound bow and shoots it with a twisted hand. :weird: At last the kewlness has arrived! Oh I'll never get it...
However I love the dramatic gesture with which he pulls his lockpick. That looks a bit Arsène-Lupinish. :thumb:

Nice to see that Garrett finally went back and picked up the upgraded bow from the Alarus tomb.
