I'd like the 1st person view only. As it was in T1/2.
If there's no choice, however... it may be 3rd person view like in T3, but WITH a choice to change view to 1st person. No 3rd person view only.

I personal hate third PP and I will go as far as to say this: If Thief 4 was to be third PP only I would cry and be very disappointed indeed.

Thief 4 will be a side scrolling adventure, exclusively for the iPhone. Controls will use the accelerometer (tilt right to move forwards) and shaking the iPhone will make Garrett say something suitably cynical and witty. :joke:

I predict the game will have third person, but if we're lucky we'll get first person as well.
It depends how true they actually want to stay to the original thief games. Problem is, they know all the fans that'll whine loudly about third person perspective will probably buy the game anyway, while the guys who would complain that it's not enough like assassin's creed or splinter cell are a harder sell, so the game has to be made more with them in mind than us.

Agreed. Color scheme of their forums is crap. I'll take white and light blue and simple and readable over that one any day.
