Ok, last try for tonight, V3.8 is up. Thanks for your patience so far.
Believe it or not, this cat & mouse game is more fun than the mission itself.

Sorry, no luck with that version either.

Me neither - v3.8. But glad to hear you're enjoying the problem solving!

:D Quite!
Sorry not this one either. I'd love to know what you're trying each time though.

V3.8
----> desktop after objectives

Version 3.8 runs fine on my machine. XP Pro, build 5.5 with nVidiia 6500 gt video card. Only crash was accessing the Map. Looking in dromed 'Mission Quest Data" Map_Max and Map_Min are not in there using his original blank map:page001.pcx (he reported in his readme that it would crash after accessing the map)
If it's crashing after objective screen loads, one could delete the Quest Data and redo the Objectives.
note pad that was used to create the goal.str could be corrupt. one could also recreate the goal.str
It is not logical that so many crashes here are after the objective screen loads, unless it is a gui problem.
Another thing to try is to make a custom .osm and include it in the .zip
Another possibility is a virus in the miss file, or just corruption of sorts, but my anti-virus program comes up clean.
One more possibility : It may be cursed !:ebil:
The original was made using D1 editor, not v1.37(Thief Gold) I am wondering if the objective screen would be different, although using a TG patch, D1 works in TG, and TG in D1. one could extract the TG screen, and include in the zip along with TG Dark.cfg, for those who only use the TG patch using T1.
The Author being 14 years old when he released it, did a great job, and made a very fun fan mission !:thumb:

Same crash on 3.8 for me. Keep going though, your persistence is awesome. :cool: Getting any help from the editor forum?

I received some very useful stuff from darthsLair, which will hopefully solve this. Please try v3.9 that I just uploaded and let me know.
