When I try to play Morrowind, I enter the game on the boat you start in, and my screen constantly flashes weirdly, making it not too fun to continue playing.
Anyone know what could be causing this?
I am using a 700 mhz P3
ATI Radeon 9200 SE
It used to work, but I formatted my computer and had to reinstall it.
Thanks.

Sounds like you need to install the Catalyst drivers for your Radeon card. If you re-formatted, they wouldn't have been installed, since they are Radeon drivers, not Microsoft ones.

I just got the latest drivers from ATI.com, and same thing...

All my other games work fine, Medal of Honor, Call of Duty, System Shock 2, America's Army...

yes the same thing happened to me, but with Deus Ex 1 instead of morrowind. i fixed it somehow eventually, but i think your best course of action would be to buy an xbox. all those games you named are out or to be released for xbox plus its much cheaper than pc and no more terrible pc errors.

OK, we see that you're into the X-Box, but this constant plugging is a bit much. I doubt the guy's gonna buy a whole new console just because of a flashing screen problem

Can you describe exactly what it does? Does it flash from game, to black?

Well, now when I play, it works normally for a while then my screen goes into a stanby type of thing and doesn't go away unless I restart my computer.
