Hey, I apologise in advance if this is something widely known and I just happened to find out only after weeks of Dromeding :cheeky: But I've never encountered in any tutorials that it is possible to fly around in game mode in Dromed and now I've just managed to activate it by accident using CapsLock (that... or I bugged the living hell out of my Dromed). I guess my question is... am I the last one to find out? :D Is this possibly a NewDark feature?

It's not new, original Dromed had it too. Shift-Q to fly, P to turn it off (default bindings).

Oh thanks! And here I was thinking I already knew the basics :cheeky:

Yeah, flying and turning off AI awareness is a great way to quickly tour the whole level in action, and along with the persistent start one to start game mode where you are, those are the 3 commands I used the most.

I actually didn't know you could fly around in game mode!
Also, it wasn't until I started working with Russ that I knew about the AI Aware thing. I used to actually manually change every single AI team to neutral for testing.

I always saw people fly in dromed but never knew how to myself :tsktsk:
I'm gonna fly my way over to dromed tomorrow and try it out *NO PUN INTENDED* Hahaha :joke:

Shift-Q no longer works for flying, unless I'm doing it wrong. Enter game (Alt-G), press Shift-Q to fly; P to disable flight.
I have nothing in my dark.bnd for flying.
Yandros on 11/12/2016 at 16:59
It may not be in the bindings, it may be hardcoded in the engine. Although if you bound something else to Shift-Q it might prevent flying from work. Also, make sure Caps Lock isn't on.

Try caps lock - that has been the default in game mode for me.
Edit: Dale, forgot to say that once I hit caps lock in game mode, I have to hit the Q key to "lift off". I found this by way of misadventure.. probably not the right way per se, but has worked for me. ;) After I hit the Q key, I hit caps lock again, and then am able to use the W key to fly forward.

Check your "default.bnd" file and do a text search for "fly". There should also be a binding for "unflying".
