Haha, this is plain evil.

I have no problem with the hammer-in-the-box thing. I like that there is always a risk for this the first time I play a mission. I usually have already planned where to go and drop the hammer if it happens.
I can't defend myself against that stunt in the vidclip, though!

A hammer or a bedroll in the footlocker by the bed with a sleeping AI is also a common variation. Yes, I suppose it's one of those cliche gags that some authors do. I don't recall if I ever did it - I probably did.
You do it in miss 2 of DCE ye dolt!

Well at least there's time to fix it. ;)

Thank you! I knew he had because I remember complaining about it but I just couldn't think where it was.

I've had the HITB often enough, but not as bad as in that video.
Usually there is a bed or carpet to soften the hammer's sound when put down, and sometimes a crypt is nearby enough for me to possibly use the hammer in another manner.
Has anyone ever found themselves stuck when walking over a grave? :erg:
Is this just an oddity in the dark engine or is it something like the HITB?
I have walked over a few graves in a hammerite cemetery and then get to where I can't move any further but only turn and pivot. Squatting and jumping will get me out sometimes, but too often I have to start over from my last save.
It is like a hand grabbing the leg from the dirtpile on a fresh grave, and I have noticed it near dirtpiles most often, so that is why I think it might be intentional.

I had been in those situations too. Or sometimes, stuck into a (wall) texture. I felt like an idiot, walking along the wall and of course a Hammerite saw me. Instead of giving me a hand, it was clobbering time. (I don't know if his purpose was to unstick me)
Now with NewDark, it's rather rare.

I like to make nose when I get the easy open chests, etc.. with a heavy, loud object. It's the chests that take a long time to open, thinking that you'll get some cool stuff, but nope.. It's a mace/Axe/bedroll... that's what gets to me.. But I like to thwart some evil AI.

That's too funny... What also funny, is that I completely forgot about that FM.
