Maybe I'm being dense... but how do I get the castle gates open or otherwise make it in there?
Lawviz on 28/6/2010 at 05:18
Apparently you can gas the apparitions in one of the rooms. The supposedly "dead" apparition and the keeper will go unconscious when you fire a gas mine/arrow...then you can kill them with a sword haha

I just killed largo and the gates won't rise...help me out here?:confused:
Maybe its because I killed all the
haunts, including the real people with blue beams sticking out from the heads. Were they supposed to hit the switch?Not the haunts but the innocents. The real problem is, that normally the mission should end if you kill an innocent and it worked the whole time. I really hate this, I change something and than a little mistake in writing and it doesn't work anymore.
@WhiteFantom
I'm sorry but there is no way to go back or open the gates. :(
It seems I have to make an update version

Hallo basso71,
thank you for this very interesting story. I saw in the 80s the movie from the "body snatchers". :eek:
very spooky. I like the "trigger things" in your mission very much: 1.) to ring the bell for the woman who comes after it 2.) open gate with a diamant 3.) kill the lord and in real life are dieing the monsters.
Wonderful. And the best thing for me: it is in german, because I am "ä Saggse"
Kind regards

I think "cloned nobles" is a new one for FMs... a new plot, will wonders never cease? :laff:
this one was difficult once in the castle, but maybe because I ran into all the guards at once when they came to investigate the noise of the mine going off in the courtyard! :rolleyes:
a couple unanswered questions: is there a way onto the battlements? what is the use for the blue key?
it's just too bad there are invisible walls; I really wish the play area was limited in some other way without resorting to that :tsktsk:

Thanks to all, thanks to epithumia for uploading the new version!
@Dr.Sahnebacke
You're welcome, geiler Name übrigens:cheeky:(cool name by the way)
@ MrMunkeepants
The blue key, I guess you mean the blue(violett) crystal? To open the first big double doors.
The invisible walls, well, I wanted to simulate wideness, on the other hand I must placed borders to the player because the polycount would have been too high.
I also know that some Players have problems with this kind of barricade. Using walls who looks like maybe a forest wasn't an option for me.
The battlements, I'm not sure, you mean the place above the courtyard with the broken stairs?
Hehe, some testers have managed it, but actually no.
@Dr. Sahnebacke again
You mean the movie from the 70' I guess?! With the great Donald Sutherland and a young Jeff Goldblum. I like this one too.:thumb:

Just a hint for the people that the gate wont open for after you kill Largo. Try taking his sword and hold that and see if that works. :thumb:

Interesting mission, love the *triggered* events, nice touch. The woman coming out to open the gate, subtle yet effective. Fun mission, I wanted more! Only part I got stuck was finding a key. Other wise, good job. :)
