Hello everyone!
i've been looking for FM ghost results and have found the following:
(
http://forums.eidosgames.com/showthread.php?t=141955)
I'm glad it exists, but to be honest It's horrably structured and I't took me a while to find "Fletchers last mistake".
I've seen a similar thread on TTLG forums which was much more viewer friendly, can someone direct me?
Question about Fletchers last mistake.
As it turns out to be one of my favorite missions I'm devastated over it not being ghostable.
I've found a way to pass every other part of the mission except the zombies at the end.
Does anyone have a trick up their sleeves? Glitch, Chemical, anything that would preserve ghost mode.

What you found there is an archive thread of all past ghost reports. What you missed was (
http://forums.eidosgames.com/showthread.php?t=74580) this thread which has them all in alphabetical order by mission name. The first post is a list of explanations of terms, the second post is a list of all ghost successes and the third post is a list of all ghost failures (which is where you'll find Fletcher's). Each section has links to the actual ghost report.

Yes, thank you!
I thought there were 2 separate lists but i guess it's all one big win.
Cheers!

You're welcome. It's been a long time since I played the mission and I don't remember very many details of it. So I can't help you with ghosting the end. Did you read Hexameron's report? He ran into the same problem at the end. From his report, it doesn't even look like an invisibility potion would help.

Hmm...I'm up for any challenge when it comes to Ghosting. Unfortunately, I haven't played this mission. I might squeeze it in between my other projects in order to take a look at this situation. Does it even look remotely possible to Ghost? If not, there might not be any point in trying.

Lol...well without knowing anything about the mission, ghosting the situation Hexameron explains seems like a pipe dream to me. I assume there is no way to dim the lights in there, and even if there is, there doesn't seem to be physical room to maneuver. Four enemies staring straight at the entrance...forget it, neux. Sorry. :p
If you want me to give it a go, I will, but don't get your hopes up.
Edit: Is the objective that necessitates entering that room triggered at some point during the mission? Could it perhaps be avoided in order to circumvent this situation altogether? Hexameron also reported a fairly low loot total %. It could be interesting to see if all the loot (bar the last room) could be ghosted. And it is always interesting to me to see how much of it can be Supremed even. ;)

Trying to ghost my freshman effort are we?
I'm a little fuzzy on the exact ghost rules set forth back in ancient times by Peter Smith and others. But you might get really close by using the invisibility potion to skirt the undead guarding the item. I can't even remember what the item is but I'm guessing the good 'ol golden skull. The thieves den is/was meant to be the toughest part of the mission. I didn't even consider players attempting to ghost that area...I had my hands full just connecting rooms together at that point! I did want the player to ghost the beginning of the mission and set up circumstances accordingly.
EDIT: so I had a look...damn those thieves are jumpy! I don't see ghosting that area being very plausible. You have to get the key to the loot room first. That key is on the other side of the hideout. A lone sentry stands at the bottom of the entrance shaft near the warehouse. Electric lights can't be doused and the passage too narrow to go around the sentry. It might be possible to nudge him down the passage and shove his nose in the far wall and sneak behind. Then go back up and around to the rear entrance by the loot room and use the invisibility potion to clear out the loot room. But that would be a severe engine exploit and not much fun in my opinion.

@Klatremus
Yeah, i guess it is hopeless. But anyway the mission is amazing to try and ghost. As far as i remember i had two problems with trying to ghost the mission. One was with the zombies (Where i remained unseen but broke rule 5) and one was the guard, guarding the enterance to the inn (guess i was trying to supreme it, the unavoidable 1st alert bothered me) but i thought of an alternate way by sneaking into police station before getting the rope arrow but haven't tried it yet. So i think its only the zombies now, given your not doing perfect mode. But yeah, very enjoyable.
@Slyfoxx
Your missions are amazing, sly! Fletcher is definately in my top 10.

Interesting...I might just give it a go :)
